Lallemand Baking announces Yeast Price Increase effective January 1, 2022

Price increases are never easy to communicate. Lallemand Baking continues to face global supply issues of raw materials, packaging, pallets, and transportation. We have made significant investments to insure an uninterrupted supply to its customers.

The following adjustments are necessary to compensate for steadily increasing costs, producing a quality product, that is delivered on time with a sufficient return for investment in our people, products, and facilities.

Effective 1/1/2022 pricing* will be adjusted by the following:
-$0.06/lbs liquid yeast
-$0.12/lbs bags + blocks
-$0.30/lbs dry yeast

Lallemand has built its reputation by striving to go above and beyond customer expectations. The freight industry is facing driver shortages this makes lead times imperative to follow. It is business critical to ensure that your teams are respecting lead times and avoiding any last-minute change orders. We appreciate your every support. Please do not hesitate to work with your key account Sales Manager with any unforeseen circumstances.

*For non-contracted partners- this current increase announcement effective January 1st 2022 will be the difference between the current increase less the July increase.
