Vita D® Yeast

Lallemand Vita D® Yeast products consist of instant dried bakers yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) that is subject to the same production process as our regular Instaferm® bakers yeast. During part of the process, the Vita D® yeast products goes under controlled lighting conditions which converts all its sterols to vitamin D.  This produces considerably higher vitamin D concentration than regular Instaferm® yeast, typically 2,000,000 ± 15% IU/100g.
